He K?inga Oranga: reflections on 25 years of measuring the improved health, wellbeing and sustainability of healthier housing^*

This paper reflects on the influences and outcomes of He K?inga Oranga/Housing Health Research Programme over 25 years, their impact housing health policy in Aotearoa internationally. Working partnership particularly with M?ori Pasifika communities, we have conducted randomised control trials which shown broad co-benefits retrofitted insulation, heating remediation home hazards, underpinned government Warm Up NZ-Heat Smart programme Healthy Homes Standards for rental housing. These been included as evidence WHO Housing Guidelines led to our designation a Collaborating Centre Wellbeing. We are increasingly explicitly weaving frameworks, values processes traditional Western science.
